Single parenting is often fueled with overwhelm, stress, and exhaustion, however, shame, fear, and not feeling good enough also play vital roles in parenthood. These issues are often overlooked and create a trickle-down effect--manifesting in parents' lives through the jobs they have, the self-confidence they possess, and the relationships they develop which prohibit them from being leaders in their own lives, families or communities. Then they begin to trickle down in their children through their school work, behaviors, and social skills. Discover how to educate single parents on what it takes to tackle these issues that affect their lives daily so they can live courageously, lean into leadership, and empower their children to do the same.
At the end of this session participants will be able to:
- Stand in her/his own power and worth by receiving real strategies to become a leader in their own life.
- Recognize fear and shame, while discovering how to better communicate with those around them and shine their light to the world.
